Thanks for visiting me!

I live in Manistee and to put it mildly, I love it here. I grew up in the Benzie County area, then at 18, moved away to attend college in Kalamazoo. Somehow or other, I ended up becoming a Realtor there after college..and I loved my work so much I stayed and stayed.

Then one weekend a few years ago, I returned to this area for a visit with my parents and siblings. That was the weekend Dad said, "Margie, I want you to meet a very nice and interesting friend of mine."

I met him -and Dad was right on all counts. To make a long story short, I moved to Manistee to establish my roots here, and married Alex Zaccanelli -that very nice and interesting man!

My hobbies include gardening, cooking for friends, reading, exploring, walking, taking care of my two favorite Bichon puppies (Sam and Frankie), and sailing with Alex.

When it comes to Victorian homes, I'm a big fan. In fact, for years my secret dream was to live in a rambling old turn-of-the-century Victorian. These days, I'm doubly blessed because not only do I actually live in one -that's a water color of our Fourth Street home in Manistee -but I also get to work in another one!

And I love my work. I really do.

I am as happy to help my clients find their modest new home as I am when I sell an rambling old Victorian house or a newer contemporary home overlooking Lake Michigan. For me, it isn´t the size of the transaction; it´s the satisfaction of knowing that I´ve helped people realize their dreams.
